Artist Statement

My work utilizes the ephemeral with the emotional in fragile and or questionable sculpture and installation that i consider all to be self portraits. I am interested in the connections we have in life. To friends, family, passerbyers, to life itself. I construct work that emphasizes these connections. Some of these being strong and able to withstand time while others are fleeting and wait for a destiny of certain failure.
