Rose Anne Jones, Executive Director

Rose Anne grew up in Michigan and achieved a BA in English & Sociology from Western
Michigan University. After graduation she lived in Cambridge, Massachusetts for two years
before moving to Denver, Colorado where she lived until relocating to Oahu in the spring
of 2006. Rose Anne has 2 children, Kate and Chris, son-in-law,
Scott, and 3 grandchildren: Sean, Timmy and Lizzy.
In 1997, Rose Anne and her husband, Robb, (with a BFA from Rocky Mountain College of Art &
Design) purchased Arrowhead Gallery and Gift Shop in Golden, Colorado. Rose Anne was the
Art Director, Sales Manager, Office Manager and Bookkeeper for the gallery that featured
original paintings, limited edition prints, sculpture, ceramics and Native American
jewelry.
In addition to planning and managing many art exhibits in the gallery and in other public
areas, Rose Anne was active in the Golden Downtown Merchants Association, President of the
Golden Business Alliance for 2 years, and Chair of the Golden Fine Arts Festival for 5

Following numerous visits to Hawai'i over the past four years, Robb received a job
transfer to Oahu in January 2006. Rose Anne is excited to be the Executive Director of Hawai'i
Craftsmen and enthusiastically enjoys working with the Membership and the Board
of Directors.

Verena Snively, Part-time Administrative Assistant, Program Director

Originally from north-western Wisconsin, Verena
obtained her BFA in sculpture from the University of Hawai`i at Manoa. She
enjoys working sculpturally in different media including ceramics, fiber,
glass, wood and jewelry.
When she is not working on Hawai`i Craftsmen programs or her own artwork she
can be found surfing or paddling.
