Jenny Hazlehurst

I am 15 years old and in the 9th grade at Punahou School. My ceramic art work is based on the ocean and its creatures. My Raku bowls and sculptures are created using the slab and pinch methods of clay handbuilding.

Jenny has been a Hawaii Craftsmen member for five years. Her ceramic art work has been exhibited in the Raku Ho'olaulea art exhibit several times. Her piece entitled 'Bird of Paradise' won the minors section of the exhibit in 2000.
