Exhibition Juror: Angelik Vizcarrondo-Laboy (She/Her) is a Los Angeles and New York-based curator, writer, and arts administrator of contemporary art and craft, focusing on ceramics. Her current research investigates the use of humor, cuteness, and leisure in art as protest. Amplifying the voices of artists of color is central to her practice. She serves as Assistant Curator at the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD), New York.

Held annually since 1967, this juried exhibition of traditional and contemporary crafts brings a juror of international reputation to the state of Hawai’i to jury entries and give public presentations on each island. Emerging and established artists from across the state are encouraged to submit up to six completed artworks for jurying.

By registering for this event you are agreeing to the terms and conditions outlined in the prospectus
